How we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

1. Data controller

Harjosukarto Morsed Sewa Solutions (Registration No. 202503127940 (MA0331206-D)) is the data controller for personal information processed through SewaNow (sewanow.com), subject to applicable Malaysian data protection law, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) where applicable.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

Account data: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored in hashed form).
Authentication data: login tokens and, if you use Telegram sign-in, identifiers provided by Telegram subject to your consent.
Booking and tenancy data: move-in dates, contract duration, parking selections, remarks, booking status, and related property references.
Payment records: invoice amounts, payment status, Billplz bill references, and e-invoice (MyInvois) submission status. We do not store full payment card or bank credentials; payments are handled by Billplz.
Communications: messages you send to us and transactional emails related to bookings, invoices, and account activity.
Technical data: browser type, device information, IP address, and usage logs needed to operate and secure the platform.

3. How we use your information

Provide, operate, and maintain the SewaNow platform.
Process bookings, invoices, and payments.
Authenticate users and manage accounts.
Communicate with you about bookings, payments, and support enquiries.
Submit eligible transactions to LHDN MyInvois for e-invoicing.
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Improve platform security, reliability, and performance.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

Property agents and owners involved in your booking or tenancy, to the extent necessary to fulfil the rental arrangement.
Payment processors such as Billplz, to collect and confirm platform payments.
Government systems such as LHDN MyInvois, where e-invoice submission is required or requested.
Service providers that assist with hosting, email delivery, authentication, and platform operations, under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
Authorities where required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the platform, fulfil bookings and invoicing obligations, comply with legal and tax requirements, and resolve disputes. When data is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.

6. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Some data may be retained where required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
